Battle for the
American Mind
#1 New York Times Bestseller
It began early in the 20th century, when progressives quietly transformed America’s schools. Their strategy would one day hold the keys to America’s most fundamental political force… The American Paideia. They succeeded beyond their wildest hopes.
Battle for the American Mind: Uprooting a Century of Miseducation was released by Harper Collin’s imprint Broadside Books on June 24, 2022. In its first reporting week (July 3, 2022), it debuted at #1 on the New York Times Non-Fiction Best Seller list. The book remained #1 for 4 weeks, and remained on the list for 12 weeks. It also debuted near the top of Amazon’s overall non-fiction sales, and remains #1 in multiple categories in late fall, 2022. It made the “Best Sellers of 2022” list on Amazon. The book was a cooperative work by FOX News personality Pete Hegseth and The Classical Difference editor David Goodwin. It chronicles the Progressive takeover of education early in the 20th century and follows the decline of public schools, exposing their plan to capture the nation’s “paideia,” a little known societal and cultural power-structure that has captivated America’s culture and political ecosphere.
In January of 2022, FOX Nation released the first season of a 5-part documentary — “The Miseducation of America” — based on the book. In January of 2023, due to the popularity of the first season, FOX Nation will release the second season, expanding on the book’s content.
